Famous for hosting the Miss America Pageant and for gambling on the East Coast, Atlantic City, NJ is still one of the most fun places to visit on the New Jersey shore. Your cheap flights to Atlantic City, NJ will take you to Atlantic City International Airport which is served by Spirit Airlines and Air Tran. You'll find snack bars and restaurants if you're hungry or an ATM if you need cash upon exiting your Atlantic City flights. Transportation from the airport is provided by shuttles, taxis, or limousines. Public transportation by TransLink will take you to the Pleasantville bus station.
And, of course, you can rent a car from Avis, Hertz, or Budget. Among cities, Atlantic City may have some of the most numerous options for getting around the city. First, you can rent a car but since you will likely stay around the boardwalk and the casinos, this may be unnecessary. You can walk the boardwalk from one casino to the other and there are even underground tunnels for when the weather turns nasty. Taxi fares are capped at $13 but jitneys are only $2.25. You can even rent a personal scooter which can be used inside the casinos. Purchasing cheap airfare to Atlantic City probably means that you want to visit the boardwalk and casinos. But the boardwalk also boasts the Atlantic City Art Center, the Garden Pier, and the Atlantic City Historical Museum. Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum still amazes visitors with its strange attractions. There is even a mini golf outlet on the boardwalk. Certainly there is more to do in Atlantic City than just gamble.
The city also has a number of events and festivals including Restaurant Week, the Airshow, and Oktoberfest. Those who bought inexpensive flights to Atlantic City are in for some great shopping, which is best done at “The Walk”, an outlet center with over a hundred stores.

As many of these are designer outlets, some stores are still pricey but nice. There are also the Pier Shops at Caesars, Atlantic City Premium Outlets, and The Quarter at Tropicana. As for nightlife, try your luck at one or more of the casinos or stake in some live entertainment that is offered up by many casinos.
